The project takes this seemingly urban problem, and architecturalizes it. Through an offset grid of circles, selected extrusions and cuts, and a programmatic importance sectionally, a new residential typology is explored. Through a series of operations, a plinth and towers stemming from the plinth are created. The towers hold the residences, while the plinth holds the “services,” including parking and commercial space. The typology challenges notions of vehicular access, residential organization, and urban planning.
